Prof. Omary Mashiku Minzi

Omary MS Minzi is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds an MPharm degree from Pyatigorsk Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Russia, MSC in Pharmaceutical and Medical Research at Vrije University of Brussels, and PhD in Clinical Pharmacology  from the University of Dar es Salaam in Collaboration with Karolinsk Institute in Sweden. He Joined MUHAS while it was still called Faculty of Medicine in 1992  and has supervised 12 students in Hospital and Mpharm clinical Pharmacy and 3 in MSc clinical Pharmacology. He has also supervised 5 PhD students in clinical Pharmacology. Prof Minzi conducts short courses in Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacovigilance targeting mainly trainees from academia, research, regulatory and other  institutions. Read More!
